Post What is a "leak" cookie? Reply with quote
Hi there,

In the analyzer section for COOKIES - Current User, the default column headings are Name, FileName, FileType, Type, Created, and Accessed. Under the "Type" column I noticed two types... URL and LEAK. What is the LEAK type and how does it differ from URL?

Those are records that contains references to visited pages including passwords etc.. the structure of these is same as REDR records. You may want to read this PDF for complete information http://www.foundstone.com/us/pdf/wp_index_dat.pdf

Thank you for asking.
